Looking to unlock a better tennis experience in Australia? The key is completing your Competitive Player Profile on the Match Centre app!
Your Competitive Player Profile is a unique profile generated by connecting your Tennis Australia Tennis ID and UTR Rating (learn more about how Tennis Australia works with Universal Tennis here).
Created by Universal Tennis, UTR Rating is the gold standard rating and the most accurate measure of a player’s true skill level, regardless of gender, age, or geographic location. Since 2022, UTR Rating has been the official rating system of Tennis Australia.
Activate Your UTR Rating in Match Centre
If you don't have an existing Universal Tennis account:
Step 1: Click on "Activate My UTR Rating" on your Match Centre profile.
Step 2: Click on "Create A Universal Tennis Account".
Step 3: Enter your email address and password and click on "Sign Up with Email".
Step 4: Enter your mobile number and click "Continue".
Step 5: Click on "Create New Profile".
If you have an existing Universal Tennis account:
Step 1: Click on "Activate My UTR Rating" on your Match Centre profile.
Step 2: Click on "Sign In To Universal Tennis Account".
Step 3: Enter your email address and password and click "Sign In".
Step 4: Success! You have linked your Match Centre profile and Universal Tennis profile.

With the connection between your Tennis Australia Tennis ID and UTR Rating established, your playing history and upcoming match data will be stored securely, enabling access to advanced analytics, match date, and performance history. Other benefits include endorsed event and league entry, Australian Open and Summer of Tennis ticket offers, discounts, personal injury insurance, and exclusive events and content.
All players competing in Australia should have a Competitive Player Profile established to simplify the process of entering endorsed events and leagues.
